Dr. Ed Womack the "Urban Leadership Strategist," international trainer, consultant, author, radio and TV personality currently resides in Woodstock, Georgia. He was raised on the West Side of Detroit, Michigan. He is a recovering addict with over ten years of sobriety. In 2005, Ed began the journey to overcame being the victim of sexual molestation, numerous bouts of depression and substance abuse. Womack is the founder of the Man Rise Up Movement and executive producer of the We Rise Media Network. He serves returning citizens, displaced veterans and individuals finding themselves in a homeless and/or less than optimal season in their life, work, or play. Womack also specializes in training, conducting seminars, teaching classes and speaking on the topics of purpose, leadership, self-esteem, better decision-making skills and entrepreneurship. Womack graduated from the Trinity House Men's Program in 2007 and has not looked back since.
