Pickford received diplomas from Monmouth College, NJ; a BA from St. John's University;an MA from University of Massachusetts and a CAS from Harvard University. She taught ten years at the University of New England until retirement. Now she writes and performs in the Senior Players a part of Osher Lifelong Learning Institute of SMU Maine.
