Justin Colón is a professional actor, children's book author, and creator of creatures. His previous picture books include The Quacken, The Zombees, Impossible Possums, and Impossible Possum for Mayor. Ever since he was a kid, Justin has been rescuing and relocating animals in need: dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, turtles, fish, and more. He's yet to save a vampire kitten, though. Then again, he hasn't searched at night. Justin lives in New York with his family and two rescue pups, Harley and Brooks.

Lenny Wen is an author/illustrator who was born in Indonesia. She is the author/ illustrator of several picture books, such as Wolfgang in the Meadow and Pippo's Perfectly Peculiar Days. Lenny currently lives in Austria.
