In writing the first part of this book I had to comfort myself as to how I expose, react, and explore myself. What will my family and friends think of me? Only some of my current friends and family know of these experiences in my past. I had to determine that regardless of the outcome, that was my experience at some time in my life's journey. I made it through to this point, but still many women struggle with domestic violence. This book will inform and encourage the reader. I am happy to add other words from daily life so that the reader who needs encouragement will know that they may be struck down but not destroyed (2 Corinthians 4:9b).
