I wrote this book to help people understand that weight loss is not about jumping on the latest fad or following a quick, product-driven diet or an extreme calorie reduced regiment. It's not about counting calories with point systems or packaged low-calorie frozen food that you have to purchase along with a program.
It's about transforming your perception of yourself. It's about knowing you are worthwhile and valuable enough to spend energy and time to cook yourself wonderful, healthy meals, and to exercise, stretch and move your body so that it becomes strong, supple, lean, agile and fit. It's about looking after your "temple" (your body) where you experience your life day to day. Your body is the centre of your world. If it does not work well or feel well, then your experience of everyday life is greatly limited.
