Born and raised in Norfolk, VA, Angela B. Epps is the middle child of nine siblings to her beloved mother, Helen B. Epps. As a single parent, Mama Helen was able to instill in her children that loving one another is one of God's great gifts. Being born into a large family was as wonderful as an apple pie. The family was knitted with so much love, that even today they are still a close-knit family. Having four children of her own, a step-son, and 14 grandchildren, the challenge of being a single parent was tough for Angela. However, the outcome is another blessing and she would do it all over again.
