Walking on Eggshells: A Couple's Journey Through Transgenderism (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781962733779)

Book Summary:

You might have heard of cross dressers. But have you wondered what it would be like to be married to one? When Noreen left her abusive husband to create a new life for her sons, she never expected to fall in love again.

Enter Jason, the charming-if a little awkward-man she meets in a church singles group. Noreen feels inexplicably drawn to him and, before long, Jason proves himself to her and convinces her that it's not too soon to be in a committed relationship again. The only catch? Jason just so happens to be a closeted crossdresser.

Noreen, who is initially repulsed and overwhelmed by the revelation, quickly becomes her husband's biggest pillar of support and wades through the misconceptions and stereotypes surrounding heterosexual crossdressers with him. By sharing his secret, she gets an intimate look into the life of a crossdresser and the ignorance and prejudice that comes with it.

Will the hardships and changes that they experience together make them or break them? Only time will tell...
