Katherine Hitch is Walter's wife who felt that Walter's bicycle adventure had to be recorded for children. Katherine is educated in the USA where she once was a school teacher in her earlier life. She also taught at several outdoor education camps and climbed some very high mountains before marrying Walter and moving to Tasmania (Australia).This is her first book.
