Scott's full-time job is as an architectural designer, he loves to build things. This also comes through clearly in his writings. The worlds and galaxies he sets his stories in are all constructed with solid architecture and engineering. They won't fall down when put under stress. On a personal level, Scott lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and works at Temple University. He is married with two daughters, a dog and a cat.
