War of the Nine Clans (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798244659689)

A cinematic space-opera campaign of honour, betrayal and warframes

Nine clans. One empire. A war ignited from within.

The Shogunate has ruled the stars for generations, bound by ritual, honour and ancient law.
Now the Shogun lies silent, the clans turn on one another, and a hidden enemy feeds the flames.

War of the Nine Clans is a full epic campaign for 5e that blends samurai drama, political intrigue and cinematic sci-fi action. It is designed for groups who want meaningful choices, rival factions, mecha duels and starship battles that feel big, fast and emotionally charged.

This is not a dungeon crawl in space.
This is a three-act saga where player decisions reshape the fate of an empire.

You will:

• Defend orbital academies under sudden bombardment

• Fight ritual duels before entire clans

• Navigate councils on the brink of civil war

• Pilot warframes in decisive battles

• Choose whether unity, tyranny or collapse defines the future

Honour matters. Reputation matters. How you win matters.

A complete, table-ready campaign spanning levels 3-12+, including:

• 12 cinematic encounters across three escalating acts

• A living political conflict between nine distinct clans

• Clear GM guidance, scaling tables and fail-forward outcomes

• Narrative-first warframe and starship rules that slot cleanly into 5e

• Moral dilemmas, faction consequences and branching futures

Every chapter is written to be run, not just read.

Each clan is a culture, not just a banner.

You will encounter:

• Phoenix champions who duel for honour and spectacle

• Iron commanders who hold the line at any cost

• Foundry engineers building unity machines that may doom everyone

• Peace envoys fighting to stop war with words alone

• Shadow operatives who decide what truths survive

• Storm aces who thrive in chaos

• Celestial monks who read prophecy in data and stars

• Dragon ascetics guarding ancient power

• Void Riders who know what waits beyond the map

Your players can belong to different clans.
That tension is the point.

Warframes are not crunchy subsystems.
They are fast, dramatic extensions of your characters.

• Agile duelists, armoured juggernauts and mystic support frames

• Narrative-driven upgrades and clan-specific tech

• Starship encounters built for teamwork and spectacle

• Battles that resolve in minutes, not hours

Think anime pacing with tabletop clarity.
