Seeking new challenges at the age of 32, he and his wife and their four children moved on to own and operate a national child day care center and they both got their pictures in Fortune magazine and on the cover of another magazine. He joined an electronics manufacturing company and made one sale of integrated circuits that was worth over $800,000 to a company in Spain. Over time he received a Honorable Discharge from the USMC with a rank of E-4 non-commissioned officer and was a Cub Scout Leader, Webelos Leader and Boy Scout Leader. Alden was the president and CEO of an international marketing Company, President & Founder of a civic Non-profit corporation, a president of a New Construction Cleaning Corporation & Coach of a "winning & fun times" Pop Warner football Team. He has served on the board of directors of: A Junior Chamber of Commerce Organization, a Little League Association & Team Manager, an Arabian Horse Association & a Arizona State environmental Corporation. He has sat on a Planning & zoning county citizens advisory council, an county Air Quality citizens advisory council, a regional park stakeholders advisory council, and a Towns regional citizens advisory council.
