Welcome Home A Journey from Shame to Mercy: A Mother's Journey After Abortion (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798186891918)

What if the worst decision of your life wasn't the end of your story?

At nineteen, Cheryl Barnard walked into an abortion clinic believing she had no other choice. She left carrying a secret that would shape the next twenty years of her life. Beneath a successful career, marriage, motherhood, and outward success lived a woman haunted by guilt, shame, and the fear that she no longer belonged-not even in the Church she once called home.

In Welcome Home, Cheryl shares her deeply personal journey through abortion, trauma, depression, marriage, motherhood, and the quiet, relentless mercy of God. With honesty and vulnerability, she invites readers into the darkest moments of her life and the extraordinary grace that transformed them into a life of purpose.

This is not a story about perfection.

It is a story about redemption.

It is the story of a husband who stayed, children who loved, a Church that welcomed, and a Savior who never stopped pursuing His daughter.

Today, Cheryl is the founder of Mercy & Grace Coaching and CEO of Ember Rising Pregnancy Support Center, where she walks alongside women, men, and families facing unexpected pregnancies with compassion, practical support, and hope. Her ministry is built on one simple belief: people need to be loved before they can begin to heal.

Whether you are carrying the weight of abortion, grief, addiction, shame, broken relationships, or simply wondering if God could still love someone like you, this book offers a powerful reminder:

You are not beyond His mercy.

You never have been.

Welcome Home is an invitation to every heart longing for forgiveness, healing, and the courage to believe that God's love is greater than your deepest wounds.

If you've ever wondered whether there's still a place for you in God's embrace, this book was written for you.

Welcome home.
