We're All Levites Now!: How Christ Fulfills the Temple and Forms His Priestly People (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798995635000)

The curtain was torn-but the priesthood was not abolished. From the courts of the Temple to the altar of the Lamb, Scripture tells one unified story of sacrifice, sanctuary, and sacred calling. Yet for many Christians, the Temple has become a forgotten blueprint, the priesthood a point of debate, and the Mass a mystery often misunderstood. In We're All Levites Now, Patrick Conery invites readers back into the Temple-not as distant observers, but as those baptized into Christ's royal priesthood. Tracing the arc from Levi to Zadok to Melchizedek, this work uncovers a pattern woven throughout Scripture and brought to fulfillment in the New Covenant. The torn veil opened access-it did not erase holiness. Christ fulfills every sacrifice and ministers eternally. The Eucharist is not mere remembrance, but participation in heaven's liturgy. The baptized are not spectators-they are consecrated participants. Drawing from Scripture, the Church Fathers, and the living tradition of the Church, a rediscovered continuity emerges-one that challenges modern assumptions and restores a coherent vision of worship and identity. The Temple was not destroyed-it was fulfilled. The altar still stands. The Lamb is still offered. The faithful are still called to serve. We are not wandering without structure. We are not left without priesthood. We are not distant from the sanctuary. We are Levites now. Part of the Three Voices. One Story. trilogy, this volume offers a journey through covenant, calling, and newly discovered truths.
