As a first time author, I have written this novelette to share my story of trauma. It delves into the true accounts of trauma that I have faced from early childhood, all the way through to adulthood. It takes a deep dive into abuse I have suffered and moments out of my control when my body turned against me. I describe in depth, my mental health troubles and the conditions that have developed over the years. I have held in my trauma my whole life and let it consume me. I have decided it is time I find the strength to face my traumas and talk about them. Hopefully, this can encourage others to share their story too and take back control of our mental health. It is a steep hill to climb but with baby steps, I hope we can all do it.
