What is Intuition?: Resonance, Connection, and Trusting Intuition on its own Terms (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781739000202)

What is your relationship with your intuition? Do you trust it?

What do you think intuition is, anyway? And why would that matter?

What would change if you knew you could trust your intuition?

This is not another how-to book; it's a why-to.

What is Intuition? Resonance, Connection and Trusting Intuition on its own Terms explores why we might feel disconnected from our intuition, and inspires us to renew that connection. Offering vocabulary and a framework for thinking about what intuition is, Dr. Emily Sadowski helps us to normalize all kinds of intuitive experience, from embodied gut feelings to transpersonal, psychic intuition.

Insightful, wise, and thought-provoking, What is Intuition? is a journey into ideas about consciousness, connection, self-awareness, and the nature of truth, and offers up insight into how -and why- its possible to develop a trustworthy relationship to your intuition.

Based on research from Emily's PhD, What is Intuition? explores cultural reasons we might feel disconnected from our intuition, and inspires us to renew that connection. By offering vocabulary and a framework for thinking about what intuition is, it aims to normalize all kinds of intuitive experience, from embodied gut feelings to transpersonal, psychic intuition.

Like a lot of authors, Dr. Sadowski wrote the book she wished already existed when she was a student of leadership and philosophy of education. Something that was rigorous and with depth, that didn't ignore or deny the spiritual, woo aspects of consciousness and intuition. After developing and testing these ideas with clients and students for over 13 years, here it is.

The book explores consciousness, self-awareness, knowledge, and connection, and offers up insight into how -and why- to develop a trustworthy relationship to intuitive experience.

What is Intuition? is a smart, general interest read AND a resource for coaches and coaches-in-training, teachers, therapists, & parents.
