My name is Demetrius Simpson, a Singer, Actor, Business Manager and I guess now an author (who would have thought) certainly not me. I have been working in the school system for eight years and I enjoy what I do. I was never really one to voice my opinion out loud or on paper or divulge any information about what personally transpires in my life, good or bad. But, things change. As I get older and look back over my life I have to think...if I died today what would anyone know of me except that I was a good singer....that's so boring. There are so many interesting things about me that hmmm maybe about five people really know. I'm a comedian, prankster, home chef, entrepreneur, you get the picture! So let's get the formal introduction out of the way. I was born in Washington D.C. but raised in the suburbs of Prince Georges' County. The oldest of four children. Very early on in life, I realized my gift and passion to sing. Turns out I'm actually pretty good at it, let's just say anointed; called for God's purpose.
