What the Inn Remembers: Book One of the Alderveil Trilogy (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798180975515)

The crown called her expendable. She walked away before they could prove it.
The crumbling inn at the edge of Alderveil forest was supposed to be her escape - low stakes, no more proximity to powerful magical beings, no more caring about things that could cost her.
Then the dragon arrived. Out of the storm. Soaking wet. Exhausted in a way that had nothing to do with the weather. Asking for sanctuary.
She opened the door wider. She knew what it costs to be the last person standing between something precious and the world's forgetting. She'd survived that once. She wasn't sure she had anything left to give. Fortunately, she was wrong.
What the Inn Remembers is Book 1 of a cozy fantasy trilogy about a world that is quietly forgetting its magic, and one inn that holds - by remembering everyone who comes through its doors, one careful act of care at a time. Found family. Slow-burn romance. And a woman who learns that the life she was hiding from might be the one worth staying for.
Perfect for fans of Travis Baldree and Becky Chambers.
