A sweet introduction to fasting and the special practice of sharing food in Ramadan
Sharing food to break the fast brings extra blessings. I want to share something too! Mama says it should be healthy and hearty - for the night of prayers ahead. But I think it should be deliciously irresistible.
Ramadan is here, and this year Mama and Dad tell Humzah he is finally old enough to fast a whole day! Family and friends are coming over to break the fast together and Humzah wants to make something everyone will enjoy. The only problem is, he can't decide what to make. Mom's samosas smell great, Nani's rotis puff like pillows, but Humzah wants to make something that feels like a hug, tastes like a treat, and makes everyone smile. Can he come up with a tummy-rumble-satisfying idea before it's time for iftar?
