His whole family are victims, including his eight year old son Josiah and his Mom, who has carried the whole parenting load without any resources from her son's father during his years of incarceration. Josiah is truly blessed to have a mother that loves him so dearly. This book was especially written for him to help him look at the sunny side of the street, and appreciate the blessings he does have while he waits for justice for his father and learns to live and love his great variety of family members.
