When Life is Turned Inside Out: A Devotional Study on the Book of Job (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781534985261)

Hi, I am Tammi Konvicka, a Texas girl through and through. I am a wife, mother, and I have worked as a full time police officer for 11 years. Before that I worked as a police dispatcher for 7 years. I have also attempted to start my own bakery, however, due to hard economic times it did not work. This is my first bible study I have written, and my prayer is that you will get at least what I got out of it in writing it, hopefully even more. I do not have a degree, just a simple high school graduate. I grew up in church; however, I did not become a Christian until I was 22 years old. Growing up in church at Calvary Baptist, we were there every Sunday morning, Sunday evening, Wednesday evening, Revivals, and Vacation Bible Schools. I participated in the church Choir, church camp and the girl's auxiliary. At the age of 15, my family was asked to leave the church. At that time, I did not understand what was going on and only knew that my church family was being taken away from me. Shortly after leaving the church, my parents divorced, and everything changed. I blamed the church and swore I would never go back. Thank goodness the 15 years I had grown up in church had set a foundation. I am proud to say, I now have a solid relationship with my Lord and Savior, a wonderful and Godly husband of 11 years, whom I adore, the two beautiful children whom I adore, a beautiful home in the country, and the best church home and family. God did take almost everything from me, but when I surrendered all, He blessed me in abundance. There are, have been, and will continue to be, struggles that I will go through. However, like Job, if I keep my faith in God and in His will, I know God will provide for and bless me in more ways than I could ever imagine.
