When the Nuts Hunt the Squirrels (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781835636299)

In a sleepy village near the coast of Dorset, retired folks sift through Sunday papers comparing retirement developments in search of their dream homes for an easy life. This particular group have chosen Barton Court, as it seems to have an edge over mainstream developments. Their dreams threaten to become nightmares when the developers run head first into financial difficulty. Few would predict how the adversity which faces the community becomes the common bond giving them the strength to resist any that threaten their well-being. These retired gentlefolk are practically invisible to casual onlookers. They also represent easy prey to undesirables always on the prowl for easy pickings. John Smith, a stranger, happens to be in the right place at the right time. (Or the wrong place at the wrong time, depending who you are.) Is it really a good idea to mess around with old people? You decide.
