Where Love Has Nowhere to Land (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798241991836)

On November 21, 2024, the author's mother took her own life, leaving behind three children and a community who loved her deeply. She was the embodiment of sunshine, a presence that filled every room with warmth, laughter, and light.

This collection of poems follows her oldest child as they navigate the year after her death, grappling with grief, memory, and the quiet, persistent ache of absence. From the shock of loss to the daily rituals of remembrance, from the struggle to maintain family bonds to the search for small moments of solace, these poems explore the raw, unfiltered journey of living in the shadow of someone so dearly missed.

With honesty, tenderness, and occasional dark humor, the poems bear witness to survival, love, and the enduring imprint of those who leave us too soon. Where Love Has Nowhere to Land is a meditation on grief, memory, and the ways we carry those we have lost, every day, in every breath, in every heartbeat.
