Where the Sun Rests (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798264275975)

A Fantasy Inspired by Ancient Japan

Beneath an endless twilight, the island of Kagejima waits.

Once a place of serenity, where dragons breathed magic into every river and grove, Kagejima now lies shrouded in darkness. Villages whisper of creatures stalking the forests. Shrines stand defiled. And the last of the dragons fade, their light smothered by a shadow that threatens to consume all.

When strangers set foot on these haunted shores, they discover an island caught between despair and hope. Guided by a wise monk and a dragon barely old enough to spread its wings, they must face shadow-born horrors, uncover the ancient Wyrmshade Enigma, and risk everything in a ritual that may restore the dawn - or plunge Kagejima into eternal night.

Where the Sun Rests can be enjoyed on its own as a mythic adventure of light versus shadow, blending Japanese folklore with epic fantasy. It also opens the door to the greater Kagejima cycle, where colossal Kaiju, rival samurai clans, and fractured gods await.

• A world inspired by Edo-period Japan.

• A story that blends myth, mystery, and magic.

• The rise of a young dragon - from vulnerable fledgling to powerful ally.

• Perfect for readers of epic fantasy, Japanese folklore, and mythic quests.

Fans of Naomi Novik, Lian Hearn, and classic roleplaying epics will find themselves at home in Kagejima.

Where the Sun Rests is both a tale of hope reclaimed and the first step into a much larger legend.
