Whether You Admit It or Not: A field manual for the people who sell for a living - and the people who don't realize they do. (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798996964604)

You told yourself you'd never go into sales.

Then you sold a hiring manager on giving you the job. Sold your spouse on the house. Sold your kids on bedtime. Sold a stranger on yourself in three seconds at a conference.

Half of every workday is now spent moving other people - convincing, persuading, negotiating, closing. The job titles changed. The work didn't. You're in sales. Whether you admit it or not.

For twenty-one years, Dave Dass ran sales floors at one of the country's largest vacation ownership developers - where the difference between a paycheck and a pink slip was a signature on a contract that same afternoon. Across a forty-five-year career spanning six industries, he learned what the sales books get right, what they get wrong, and what they leave out entirely.

Whether You Admit It or Not audits the modern sales canon - from Carnegie to Cialdini to Voss - against what actually closes a room. It frames the craft in three pillars:

THE CRAFT - presence, story, rapport, and reading the person across the table.

THE SCIENCE - persuasion, decision-making, and the research that survives real floor conditions.

THE TECHNOLOGY - CRM, AI, and the tools rewriting the job in real time.

This is not a motivational book. It is a field manual - written for the people who sell for a living, and the millions more who sell every day without ever calling it that.

If you've ever convinced anyone of anything, you've already started reading it.
