What do we want to leave for the next generation?

Or perhaps a better way of saying it, "What do we want to preserve for them?"

What if we feel so much is already so messed up? We wouldn't want to preserve that which is not good.

Or are we looking at it all wrong?

When we pass on ...is it not so much how they felt about us, but rather how they feel about themselves?

Yet, that may take some serious reflection ...and time.
