The leaves and figs develop at the same time so when you see leaves on a fig tree, figs should be present. Jesus cursed the fig tree because it was not fulfilling its purpose. Figs provide food and fulfill the need that hunger creates. The Body of Christ has the same responsibility. The Fruit that the Body of Christ is commanded to bear are the Fruit of the Spirit. The barren fig trees are like the foolish virgins they both looked productive until you look closer. This book explains why the Foolish Virgins were not fulfilling their divine destiny.
