Rubber Duck Winifred dreams of finding a home that's not too hot and not too cold, with lots of bubbly foam. But on her journey from the factory, her crate tips overboard and she and hundreds of other toys spill into the ocean...! Carried far and wide by the swirling currents, will this plucky rubber duck ever find a warm, bubbly home?
This charming new adventure from the beloved, bestselling author of The Gruffalo and Room on the Broom is inspired by a true story of rubber ducks falling off a cargo ship and turning up on shores around the world. With bright and cinematic artwork from award-winning artist Jim Field, and written in Julia Donaldson's pitch-perfect rhyme, this picture book is a satisfying read-aloud for storytime, bathtime, and everyday adventures.
