With All Diligence: A Journey of Sovereignty, Awareness, and Integration (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798295719332)

He mastered every spiritual tradition-until one question shattered everything he thought he knew.

Mishra Anand is a celebrated scholar of mysticism, admired for his intellect but haunted by a quiet emptiness no theory can explain.

His work bridges mystical traditions across cultures-Christian, Sufi, Buddhist, Hindu-revealing striking similarities in how human beings describe transcendent experience. To his students and colleagues, Mishra represents intellectual authority and academic success.

Privately, he feels like a fraud.

Despite years of scholarship, Mishra has never recovered a direct experience he once encountered as a teenager during a temple visit-an inexplicable moment when the sense of a separate self entirely vanished. Rather than pursuing that mystery, he buried it beneath layers of theory, analysis, and professional achievement. Now, standing at the height of his career, he senses that something essential has been lost.

A dream changes everything.

Ancient voices from different traditions speak in unison, converging on a single phrase-I AM. The experience destabilizes Mishra's carefully maintained certainty. Soon after, his intellectual foundations are further shaken during a public confrontation with Dr. Leila Moreno, a neuroscientist who argues that mystical experiences are nothing more than predictable brain states. Though the debate appears unresolved, both are unsettled by what occurs later that night during a sudden blackout-an unspoken moment that neither can explain within their respective frameworks.

As Mishra continues his journey-through Zen monasteries, Sufi communities, scientific laboratories, and intense human relationships-he learns that awakening is not a permanent state, nor a philosophical conclusion. It is a continual uncovering, tested most sharply in grief, conflict, and love.

Gradually, Mishra realizes that the question he has been asking his entire life has been quietly reversed. What he sought was never absent. The awareness that observes experience is not something he can possess or explain-it is what he is.

With All Diligence is a novel about the limits of knowledge, the courage to unlearn, and the quiet revolution that occurs when the search for meaning finally dissolves into presence. It bridges science and spirituality without privileging belief, offering a grounded, contemporary exploration of what it means to truly know.

"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it flows the wellspring of life."
