K. Maxine Baughman grew up in the small town of Halfmoon Vally with her mother, father and older brother. She spent most of her time outside exploring life with 7 boys she calls her brothers. Every day was an adventure and every night a beautiful dream. She home schooled until the 5th grade where reality found its way into her life. Neoplasms are mean and even cruel. Not everyone has your best interest in mind. But Maxine has never lost her childlike wonder for the world around her and her love for her Heavenly Father. At 22, her insight, perspective, and articulate mind have led her to not accept her learning disability and begin writing down her thoughts from 2012 to present. She now resides in Kentucky and is looking forward to Volume 2 of her series, "Within the Canvas".
