Everywhere there is water. Sometimes the water is merely benign setting; more often it reminds the reader of the obstacles that all of us encounter. Intimacy is the key to these stories - the reader will feel close to these characters, even affectionate toward many of them. All will feel familiar, even intimate.

Elizabeth Buechner Morris lives by the sea in Marblehead, MA; but during the winters she and her husband live on their sloop in Boot Key Harbor, FL Keys. She is a long-distance sailor and her non-fiction often appears in the sailing press.
