Roger and Nicole Brewer are a powerhouse father-daughter duo.
Roger Brewer was born and raised in a rural town in Georgia, where he worked as a sharecropper. In that time and place, social injustices were rampant. There weren't many, if any, laws protecting the rights of people of color.
Roger served in the US military for four years. Upon finishing his service, he entered law school, where he earned his juris doctor degree.
After spending twenty-nine years as a trial attorney, Roger took early retirement to teach what he'd learned about dealing with bigotry in a healthy way.
Nicole Brewer attended Hollins University in Virginia, where she earned her bachelor's degree in English and graduated summa cum laude. Attaining her master's degree from New York University was next on her list.
Nicole is currently Assistant Professor of Foundational English at Goodwin College in Connecticut. She also pursues an interest in music.
