Maria Pedrotty is a student, teacher and writer who's always spent almost as much time exploring her imagination as she has running around and doing things that have to be done. Her first novel, Wolves on the Wind, is based on a wolf-child character she often imagined she was when she was very young. Her wonderful parents didn't mind when she crouched on a rocking chair to eat her dinner, growling and using her teeth instead of silverware. They were just glad she was eating. She is currently at work on her second fantasy novel, Three Sisters, when not running around doing things that have to be done.
