She wrote about many things--- being a sick kid, being a survivor of sexual abuse and of bullying, looking for and finding love, being overweight, her faith, her family, creation, music, etc. She had a love for the spoken and written word. Her poetry was sometimes silly and sarcastic and other times it has a definite WOW factor. Gwen died on July 12,2012 after a short battle with Ovarian Cancer.
