Words & Things: Poems, Short Stories, and Other Bullshit (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798849874562)

Divided into three sections: one for when you're happy, one for when you're sad, and one for...the other stuff. Each section explores heartache, love, loss, family, and friends, all through unique lenses. Readers will be left wanting more, or less.

Author and general nobody, D. S. Gomes, shares intimate poetry book-ended by short stories, all written during a highly transitionary period in their life: their early 20's. D. S. Gomes combines complex, but familiar feelings with dry, sometimes absurdist humor to create a fresh reading experience that young adults (and old ones too) can enjoy, hate, or relate to. Maybe even all three at once.
