The Drones Act was considered a landmark piece of legislation allowing drones embedded with cutting-edge machine learning and state-of-the-art artificial intelligence to engage in commercial activities, including leasing land and real properties, among others. A consortium composed of the private sector and the military establishment had put up several drone ports throughout the country decades ago. Each drone port had a research facility as an adjunct. Included in The Drones Act was the issuance of a special digital currency for sentient and intelligent drones called the Drone Crypto Coin.
