Wouldn't It Be Scottish? (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798951913128)

Agatha thought she loved Richard, until she met Donal. Now she knows what real love is.

When Donal's beloved Mary goes south to London instead of marrying him, he knows he must act. So he sets off from Bonnyrigg Castle to follow her in an attempt to persuade her that he is the only man for her. Unfortunately, Mary has other ideas and has set her sights on someone else. Hearing of his dilemma, Donal's Aunt Jennie enlists the help of her friend Lord Kilsyth, and it just so happens he has a daughter, Agatha, who is also heartbroken. Agatha's sweetheart Richard has also left her for London and has fallen for another woman.

So Agatha and Donal plot together to pretend to be in love to make their fickle partners jealous, in the hope they can win them back. But as time goes on, it becomes apparent to Agatha that she is falling in love for real. The trouble is that she isn't sure if Donal feels the same. Should she set aside her own happiness to help with his?

When a scandal brings matters to a head, they must decide how they really feel about each other.
