Wreckful's Run (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781468083071)

The masterly new thriller from the author of The Bone Box is based on potentially explosive current international reality, as well as actual archeological finds of great magnitude. The Islamic Republic of Iran threatens to destroy 'the great Satan' America and wipe off the map 'the little Satan' Israel. Against this background, Avi "Wreckful" Inbar, an Israeli fighter pilot, flies a mission to bomb an underground nuclear facility in Iran, part of a complex joint military operation of the United States and Israel. At the same time the pilot's father Michael Inbar, a Jerusalem police inspector, conducts a new investigation ultimately relating to the Jesus family tomb in Talpiot. The two storylines converge in a stupefying conclusion of the novel. Fast-paced, gripping and chillingly realistic, this dramatic new page-turner takes the reader directly into the powder keg of the Middle East, where an apocalyptic Islamist Iranian regime drives inexorably for the nuclear Bomb against adversaries determined to stop it. With all bitter enemies wielding state of the art weaponry, including atomic bombs, a doomsday scenario looms heavy on the horizon. A first rate high-tech thriller, coupled with bewildering spiritual revelations.
