James A. Colaiaco received his Ph.D. in Intellectual History from Columbia University. He taught Great Books of the Western and Eastern traditions. His academic interests include comparative religion, political theory, philosophy and history. He is the recipient of the NYU Award for Teaching Excellence and the NYU Distinguished Teaching Medal.
