Over several years, Christina Vourcos has been inspired to write 30 poems in 30 days during the poetry community's challenge NaPoWriMo (National Poetry Writing Month every year in April). Many were first written through her blog each day as she was inspired by a prompt or something that she was drawn to. After some time, she believed that the poems would be better read through standard publishing. So she collected these poems along with poems written in the past and added three short stories inspired by two of her friends and her Greek culture. Throughout her poetry, she blends her Greek, Latinx, and Hispanic cultures, along with some nerd references. This is her first poetry and short story collection.

Christina Vourcos is currently working on her next poetry book which will be more focused, with poems on her fight with lymphoma, mental health, and recovery along with a novella-in-verse of characters dealing with mental health.
