This book has been written by members of the RFC Airfield Research Group who are continuing to discover how the effect of siting a WW1 airfield in this area continues to have an impact today, and of the Landscape Heritage Research Foundation (who conceived the idea of the projects and received Heritage Lottery support to develop the studies to date).
