Yoga Games and Activities (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798988793625)

"Yoga Games and Activities: Volume 1" looks at activities that can be done with school age kids and teens and tweens.

As with most yoga activities, they can be adapted to meet varying age groups. It is a matter of making the activity a bit simpler or a bit more complex. As you teach more and more children yoga, you will find that the line will blur from preschool, school age, and teens.

In most cases use your best judgment as to whether the activity will work with the group you are teaching.
In this module, the preschool activities are simple, often include music or the use of the imagination, and, above all else, are fun. Preschoolers are discovering the world around them, so many activities build on that growing acknowledgment of mind, body, and spirit.

Activities for all ages are easily adapted to any group or family yoga class.
Take the time to explore with the children you teach, always coming back to the connection between the mind, body, and spirit.
