His inspiration for these poems came from many different resources. Christian authors, many different Bible commentaries, sermons he has sat under, messages he has heard on the radio, personal experiences, nature, and most importantly from the Bible itself. There are literately hundreds (over 500) of Scriptures referenced in this book of poems. Ted Roberts and his wife Sue have been married for 28 years. By God's mercy and grace, they have persevered through the many storms that blew and beat against them in this life because they have built their house upon the rock (Matthew 7:24-27). His desire is that God will be glorified, that these poems will challenge and encourage those who read them.
