I, Larry Davis was born in Augusta, Georgia in 1993; however, I was raised in Wrens, a town that's about forty miles south of the city. after graduating from Jefferson County High School in 2011, I attended Fort Valley State University in hopes of earning a bachelor's degree in English. Yet, after two years of attendance, i decided to transfer to Clayton State University. From there, I developed a love for poetry. Due to the help of Dr. Brigette Byrd, my creative writing professor along with various poetry collections such as "The Best American Poetry 2016", I was able to use what I learned about poetry and apply it to my emotions and the events that occurred in my life to write poems. As a result, I published my first poetry collection, "My Poems: The Ones with the One - Word Titles". Approximately four months later, I published "Young and Dreaming", my second collection of poetry.
