A Ph.D. of nineteenth-century British literature, Bob Davis has taught university English for over thirty-five years. In Manhattan now, he's a freelance editor and writer, language consultant for corporate and individual clients, and at New York University the creator and professor of a four-course writing curriculum for graduate students in the forty-five M.A. and M.S. professional studies programs.
