Zenvoyage: Book Four: Smilo and the Lake of Shadows (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781764983150)

Book Four of eight. The lake shows you your fear. Two shores have believed stories about each other for generations.

They are one step from spears, and the stories are not true. Smilo stands between two villages and says no - without harming a single person. And somewhere in the dark water he finds, for himself, the true word for something that was once done to him.

What you come away with

- Telling what is real from what you fear: rumour, exaggeration, the story told so often it feels like evidence.

- Anger that is used rather than swallowed or spilled.

- Leadership that costs the leader something and harms nobody.

This is the book of the eyes. If that door is yours, do not believe everything the lake shows you.

ZENVOYAGE is a meditation book, a quest book and a fantasy book, all three at once: a fantasy series in eight books, for readers from eight to adult. Each book is a complete journey in itself; the eight together make one epic adventure. Nobody in it is fixed - the one who does not fit is simply the hero.

Nothing is explained, and nothing happens by wishing. Every marvel in this book is one you could perform. For grown-ups, the practices are named at the back.

Three runes glow in every book. There are twenty-four.

From a mother of three, whose children are four to twenty.
