Luis R. Vieira, PhD in Biology, is an Assistant Researcher at the Interdisciplinary Centre of Marine and Environmental Research (CIIMAR) and an Invited Assistant Professor at the University of Porto, Portugal. Fernando Morgado, PhD in Biology, is an Associate Professor with Aggregation at the University of Aveiro, Portugal. He is a Senior Researcher at the Center for Environmental and Marine Sciences (CESAM), with activities in national and international university institutions, research laboratories, NGOs and governmental institutions. His research focuses on Marine and Estuarine Ecology, including Planktonic Ecology and Biology, Aquatic Ecotoxicology, Environmental Education and Science Outreach activities. He has written, co-written, edited or co-edited more than 200 publications, books, book chapters, Special Issues and articles in refereed journals.
